Documentation Portfolio
This section includes a curated set of technical documentation I've written to support homelab projects, independent learning, and system research. Some of these guides are based on hands-on experience; others are theoretical, written to demonstrate my ability to take unfamiliar or engineer-explained processes and turn them into usable documentation.
Whether the topic is something I’ve done a dozen times or just mapped out based on communicated knowledge, the goal is the same: make it clear, make it usable, and make it work for the person reading it.
Focus
These docs are written with real users in mind—whether that’s a new technician, a system administrator in a rush, or future me at 2 a.m. trying to remember how I set something up.
Each document is built to:
- Prioritize readability and step-by-step clarity
- Structure information logically and consistently
- Reduce friction, guesswork, and “what now?” moments
- Be useful regardless of the reader’s prior familiarity
Why It’s Here
I write documentation because I care about reducing confusion—for myself, for others, and for the systems I manage.
This portfolio isn’t about showing off polished marketing content—it’s about showing that I know how to think through a process, explain it clearly, and support the people who need to use it.
Some of these guides are well-tested. Others are rougher, drafted to test how well I understand something new. All of them reflect how I write when the audience actually matters.
